Russell Saxton Railway Photography
Welcome
Welcome to my site.

My interest in railway photography has always been in the less orthodox type of shot. Some call this style 'progressive' or 'artistic', others of course have less complimentary names for it....

On this site you won't find any sun over the shoulder 3/4 frontal shots where you can count every rivet. I take plenty of them mind you, but it isn't where my real interest lies and besides, theres many other sites where you can find such work including one of my own.
Here I hope to show shots that show the railways as you really see them, with people at work, travelling by train or just passing by, railways in their environment, as part of a greater whole.

I hope you enjoy my site, comments positive or negative welcomed!
